Eelisa Byrd has just concluded her first production at the American Theater of Actors. Other works include the titular role in Cow: The Musical (The Green Room 42), Charlie in Dragon (Under St. Marks), and Di in Darling (Asylum). She is an alumni of Sarah Lawrence College, and a graduate of the Atlantic Acting School Conservatory Program.
Mission Statement
I’m interested in work that celebrates the liberation of vulnerability, and displays even the ugly bits of humanity. I want to unsettle people. I want to create art that forces one to look within themselves and see in full view the parts that astound, move, and even frighten them.
